Golf Fit
Golf Fit is an all inclusive program to enhance the performance of golfers, at all skill levels. The program is based on a visual biomechanical evaluation of the muscular-skeletal system in regards to the golf swing. Participants may receive suggestions for exercises, stretches, and swing techniques.
Studies have shown that exercise programs focusing on strength and flexibility increase golf club speed, which results in longer drives (Journal of National Strength & Conditioning Assocation, 1996).
Evaluation includes primary assessment of one's:
- Joint range of motion
- Muscle strength
- Muscle flexibility
- Golf Swing
Treatment programs include:
- Exercises
- Joint mobilization
- Soft tissue mobilization
- Swing mechanics
